Farmingdale State College delivers your refund with BankMobile Disbursements, a technology solution, powered by BMTX, Inc.  BankMobile Disbursements will mail and email information on how to select your refund preference.

As soon as you have selected your refund preference, any refund processed will be delivered based on the method you have selected.

Please ensure that Farmingdale State College has your current mailing address.  To view your address(es), log into OASIS and click on the Personal Information link.  In order to update your address, submit a Change of Student Information form to the Registrar's Office. The form can be found on the Registrar Forms page of the Farmingdale State website.

Northeast Iowa Community College partners with BankMobile Disbursements to provide refunds to students.

Who is BankMobile Disbursements?

BankMobile Disbursements is a division of Customers Bank. They provide services which process and disburse credit balances on behalf of colleges and universities. For more information about BankMobile, visit their Refund Choices page.

What type of refunds?

Student financial aid refunds are processed through BankMobile Disbursements along with refunds for schedule adjustments if paid by check or cash. Please note: refunds for student payments made by credit card will still be processed through the credit card that was used.

What do students need to do?

  1. Make sure NICC has your current mailing address! If your address changed recently, please contact Student Services at 844.642.2338, ext. 1376 (Calmar) or ext. 2221 (Peosta) to update. Your current address is extremely important!

  2. Be sure to update your address with the US Postal service as well to avoid delays.

Siena Heights University has partnered with BankMobile, a financial services company, to provide easy and secure methods of refund disbursement to students. For more information visit the BankMobile Refund Choices website (http://bankmobiledisbursements.com/refundchoices/).

Financial aid and tuition refunds (*where applicable*) will be disbursed to Siena Heights University students via their selected refund preference with BankMobile. 


We are very pleased to provide students a choice on how they wish to receive their refunds. Even if you do not receive Financial Aid, you may be eligible to receive a refund from Siena Heights University. For example, if you drop a class during the drop/add period, you may be eligible for a refund.

 Instructions 

  • If you are not certain if we have your correct information, check your address in MySiena
  • If the information is incorrect OR if you are unable to view your account online, please contact the Registrar’s Office at 517-264-7120 or your advisor if you are a GPE student.  They would be able to verify and update your information as needed.
  • NOTE:  Information from BankMobile will be mailed to the student’s legal address on file with the university. Therefore, if your address is incorrect you may not receive your refund when you expect it. We encourage ALL students to verify that we have accurate mailing addresses.  If you think you missed the information in your mailbox, you still have options to access your selection process electronically. Who processes rebates and refunds?

The Bursar’s Office initiates rebates and refunds on your behalf any time a credit occurs for the term on your account. However, the actual payment to you is provided by a third party partner. Beginning July 1st, 2016, BankMobile Disbursements replaces our prior third party partner PNC Bank. Please see below for more information.

I had signed up for DOC in the past when it was PNC Bank. Do I need to do anything?

Yes. As of July 1, 2016, all DOC rebate payments will be completed by BankMobile Disbursements. For your privacy and security, the personal information you gave to PNC was not given to BankMobile Disbursements. This means everyone will need to sign up for DOC and BankMobile.

It looks like I need a code to access DOC/BankMobile for the first time enrollment. What if I lost it or never got one?

BankMobile Disbursements assigns a unique code for each student as part of the security process. Your code was put in bright green envelope and sent to you at the permanent address you have on file with the university. Approximately one week later, the code was also send to each TU student's email address. Check those locations first. If you cannot locate or have lost this packet, you may generate your own personal code (using the “Need a Code?” link) to sign up for a refund selection .

How do I know if I will receive a rebate?

Anytime there is a credit balance on your account which exceeds financial aid for your term charges, you will receive a rebate.

When can I expect my rebate to arrive?

The fastest way to receive a rebate is to sign up for direct deposit. You can choose to have the rebate deposited in any bank account you already have, or you can elect to sign up for a new account with BankMobile Disbursements. You may still opt to receive a mailed paper check, but processing times for that option are longer. Amongst all options, rebates are generally received in 14 days or less after the excess credit occurred on your account. An email will be sent to your TU campus email when a rebate has been ordered and the (up to) 14 day process has begun.

If I choose not to enroll in DOC, how do I get my rebate?

Students who choose not to enroll in DOC will receive a paper check by default. It's important to note that not enrolling affects the time it takes for you to get your money. If you don’t choose a rebate/refund preference, your funds will automatically be held for two weeks and then sent via a paper check to the permanent address on file with TU. This delay can be avoided if you confirm your refund method selection ahead of time. Even if you don’t think you’re going to get a rebate or refund this semester, it’s still important to sign up. Your preference will be saved and used for future rebates and refunds.

How can I have my rebate check mailed to a local address?

If you prefer to have a paper check mailed, you may still change the address to which your check is sent. Go to your TU student center page and click “DOC Account Log in.” This will direct you to the secure BankMobile Disbursements page. Click the “User Profile” tab at the top, then click “Address & Phone”. Finally, select “Update” within the primary address box, make your changes and select “Update Address” once again to save the changes. You will receive an email from BankMobile Disbursements verifying this change. Please ensure its accuracy and update anytime you move. Also note that changing your address within the BankMobile Disbursements page does not change your address with Towson University. The address change process, as outlined above, only pertains to rebate/refund processing.

Is there a fee to use DOC?

No. DOC is a completely free service to our students, whether you choose direct deposit or a paper check.

Can I choose any bank for my rebate direct deposit?

Yes. You may choose any checking or savings account that has a routing number and account number that is eligible to receive direct deposits.

How could I receive a rebate and still have a balance due on my account with a registration hold?

The Bursar’s Office must comply with federal Title IV regulations. Charges that occur outside of the financial aid year cannot be paid. For this reason it is very important that you check your account status after receiving a rebate and throughout the term. Accounts showing a balance above $250 will be placed under a registration hold. The balance must be paid prior to registering for the next term you wish to attend.

I have a credit on my account. My financial aid for the term is from both student loans and parent loans. Will I receive the rebate or will my parent?

It depends on whether your parent, when applying for the PLUS loan, selected to allow the excess funds from the Plus loan to be forwarded to the student or not.
If your parent selected the option to have the excess funds go back to them, the Bursar’s Office will send the Plus loan rebate via postal mail to the parent borrower’s address on file. If the credit in your account is greater than the entire parent loan amount disbursed, a second rebate will be sent via DOC for the difference directly to the student.

I’m a parent with a PLUS loan, can I sign up for DOC direct deposit or must I receive a paper check?

At this time, parents can not sign up for DOC. You will receive a paper check.

What do the rebate or refund descriptions in my student account activity mean?

The following descriptions are as a result of excess credit on your account:

What are my refund options?

The choice is always yours! We offer the following electronic options for refund delivery:

1. Deposit to an Existing Account - Money is transferred to another account the same business day BankMobile receives funds from your school. Typically, it takes 1-2 business days for the receiving bank to credit the money to your account.

2. Deposit to a BankMobile Checking Account - If you open an account (upon identity verification), money is deposited the same business day BankMobile receives funds from your school.  Please refer to Terms and Conditions, Funds Availability.

What if I selected the wrong Refund Preference?

You can change your refund preference at any time. To update your preference:

  • Go to “Refunds” in the navigation bar
  • Select “Refund Preferences”
  • Select your new refund preference and hit “update” at the bottom of the page
  • Follow the prompts on the screen to confirm your new refund preference

What if I have difficulty Selecting A Refund Preference?

  • Visit refundselection.com

BankMobile will send you an email with your code so you can make your refund preference.

Can’t get past the Welcome screen after entering your personal code?

  • Make sure you have entered a valid email address and password. In the last field you’ll be asked to submit unique personal information to verify your identity. Follow the instructions to make sure you are entering the information in the format requested.

Are there errors with your legal name?

  • Contact your school’s Financial Aid or Bursar’s Office to have your legal name updated.

Locked out of refundselection.com?

  • Contact Customer Care at 877-327-9515 between 8am – 11pm ET, 7 days a week to have an agent unlock your personal code.

    4. If a student has a current bank mobile vibe checking account, do they need to set up a new account?
        YES, but the student can use their existing bank mobile vibe account numbers on the new account.

BankMobile Refund Choices

A Refund Selection Kit (green envelope) will be mailed to all first time students to the address on file with NW-SCC.

NOTE: Even if you do not expect a refund from NW-SCC, you may receive one in the future for many reasons (i.e., a cancelled class, dropped class, scholarships, etc.). Please go online and make your refund selection preference.

When you receive this kit (green envelope in the mail), follow these simple steps:

  1. Visit NWSCCOne.com and click 'Get Started.'

  2. Locate your Personal Code found inside the envelope to select your refund preference. *Hint, it will look something like: ABCD-1234-5678*

  3. Select how you'd like to receive guitar f chord diagram money

  4. Complete your profile. On the next screen, you will enter your email and create a password - a gauge will pop up while creating your password and you must reach 100% for the password to be valid.

After your password, you will enter your Date of Birth in the format YYYYMMDD. Example: If your birthday is October 31, 1997, you would enter 19971031.

Why am I receiving a mailer from BankMobile?

In order for NW-SCC to be able to disburse financial aid awards and/or process refunds for enrollment fees paid by phone number santander customer service, check, or credit card in person at the campus, NW-SCC has partnered with BankMobile to facilitate refunds and disbursements. The mailer is used to select a refund preference.

Once the college has disbursed your financial funds or your refund, BankMobile will distribute your funds as follows:

DEPOSIT TO AN EXISTING ACCOUNT - Money is transferred to an existing account the same business day BankMobile receives funds from our school.  Typically, it takes 1-2 business days for the receiving bank to credit the money to your account.

DEPOSIT TO A BANKMOBILE VIBE CHECKING ACCOUNT - If you open a BankMobile Vibe checking account (upon identity verification), money is deposited the same business day BankMobile receives funds from our school.


What if I don't receive the BankMobile mailer?

The BankMobile mailer is mailed to the mailing address on file with admissions. If you did not receive the mailer, please verify your current mailing address with the Cashier. If you are a returning student, you will NOT receive a BankMobile mailer. If your card is expired or you no longer have it, please contact the Cashier to order a new one.


What if I lost my card or need a replacement?

Contact the Cashier by phone, e-mail, or in person to get a new card sent to you.


Where can I check to see if my refund or financial aid disbursement is ready?

An e-mail will be sent to you whenever a refund/disbursement has been processed. Check the e-mail address you use to log in to your BankMobile account.

TWU delivers your refund with BankMobile Disbursements, a technology solution, powered by BMTX, Inc. All refunds for excess financial aid, loans, and credit balances due for dropped classes, housing deposits, or other account adjustments are sent to BankMobile Disbursements. After their first registration at TWU, new students can select their refund preference by selecting Make Refund Choice in their Pioneer Portal. ALL STUDENTS must select a refund preference to receive any university refund.

Refunds for Financial Aid

Automatic processes will begin refunding financial aid recipients after late registration ends each term and will continue throughout the term. The Financial Aid Office will begin applying accepted, eligible awards at the start of each term. Refunds will not be available until all account charges are paid on the date that financial aid is released to the student account.

Refunds for Dropping Courses or Withdrawing

Refund dates and reimbursements for dropped courses and withdrawals are established pursuant to the Texas Education Code (TEC) 54.006, Refund or Adjustment of Tuition and Mandatory Fees for Dropped courses and Student Withdrawals. Students receiving financial aid should contact the Financial Aid Office before dropping or withdrawing since a reduction of classes may affect previously applied financial aid awards and refunds. A balance may exist if semester hours are reduced by dropping or withdrawing.

  • Dropping Courses – 100% refund for dropped course(s) thru the 12th class day of long terms and the 2nd class day of short terms. No percentage refunds for drops after these dates. Student is still enrolled in other courses.
  • Withdrawing from Courses – Percentage based refunds as defined in Academic Calendar and under Dates. No refunds after 20th class day of long terms or 2nd class day of short sessions. Student is not enrolled in courses for the semester.
