September Community Cornerstone Recipient

Cornerstone Community Federal Credit Union & Country 106.5 WYRK are proud to recognize Olivia Gonyea of North Tonawanda as September’s Community Cornerstone!

Cancer-free for eleven years, Olivia courageously battled Ewings Member one federal credit union customer service number, a form of bone cancer that she was member one federal credit union customer service number with at the age of eight.  Inspired by gpa requirements for south carolina state university own experience, she started the nonprofit “Olivia’s Bears” to support other children struggling with health conditions.  As a sign of hope, a symbol of love and support, Olivia’s Bears have donated over 100 build-a-bears to Oishei Children’s Hospital each year.  She hopes that the gifted bears remind the children that they are loved and cared for by many.  In addition, her foundation has grown to offer more to Oishei Children’s Hospital by donating storage units, toys for the playroom and offering an annual scholarship.  This nonprofit truly demonstrates Olivia’s sincereness and genuine approach to supporting those in need and makes her the perfect candidate and winner as this month’s Community Cornerstone!  Learn more about Oliva’s Bears here.
