Mortgage in Kalamazoo, MI
Poor Management
You always feel like they can let you go at any moment. Does not feel secure. The departments have clicks, and if you don't fit they will not engage with you.Mortgage Loan Processor in Kalamazoo, MI
Mortgage Manager Horrible
Mortgage manger is very rude she get away with treating people bad and then the Director and VP allow her to treat people like that . This job was very stressful wondering everyday if the manger would treat you the same as others.Anon in Kalamazoo, MI
Wants to be good
Culture is always stated but not lived up to. Benefits are amazing - compensation is so-so. You have to learn how to explain yourself if a mistake happens. Forgiveness is not easily given.Personal Banker II in Kalamazoo, MI
It used to be great
The company used to be an amazing place to work but new management has definitely ruined that. They are unapproachable and the VPs only care about protecting the managers so going to them about issues gets nothing solved. Shortly before I left I found out a male co-worker with equal experience and who was hired almost a year after me was making over $2 an hour more than me.IS Specialist II in Kalamazoo, MI
Do not trust the management
I can't speak to other departments, however I lost the trust in the management over the IS department. When they had an issue with my work, I would have hoped that we work together to remediate the problem. Instead they took an harsh, top-down approach, and left me feeling singled out. From then on I "clocked in" and quietly did my work, while planning my exit.See all reviews

We have been banking with this credit union for many years, back when it was School Employees Credit Union. We have always received great service, and have gotten schooled in financial literacy over the years by competent, well trained personnel. We highly recommend this credit union!
